Angama Mara is located above the great rift valley floor such that it overlooks the vast Masai Mara national reserve. Angama which means suspended in the air in English is made up of 2 intimate camp perched on a surface 300metres above the Mara savannah. It has a guest area that is inspired by the Muthaiga club style right from the dramatic architecture to red brick wood beads by the local Masai finishing. Angama Mara is a 1st class safari lodge in the Mara triangle that was opened in June 2015 with its Angama safari camp being opened in 2020.

Angama Mara has a total of 30 luxurious and comfortable tents inclusive of 4 family suites. The new Angama safari camp has 4 tents that accommodate a maximum of 8 people who are provided with exclusive privacy. All rooms have a 3 side canvas cover with a front ceiling to floor glass cover. These tents are spread along the Olooloo escarpment with a polished hardwood floors, king sized beds, lovely decors, sweeping canvas, spacious decks, rod rocking chairs, double basins, drink cabinet with a private bar and a hidden safe, writing desk, ceiling fans and a private deck. there are electric blankets that provides warmth during chilly nights.
