Mara Nyika is among the camps and lodges that are owned by the great plains conservation. Nyika means great plains portraying the position of this camp. This camp is found on the west sides of the Mara Naboisho conservancy. The word Naboisho means coming together.
Mara Nyika has a cosy lounge room with arm chairs, nicely padded sofas surrounding a small coffee tables with a wall shelf of artefacts and wine. The dining area has a safari seat and a wooden table that flow to the outer part which can be used as a communal dining area. Enjoy both indoors and outdoors meal experiences and a lovely picnic. relax at the comfort of soft drinks, bottled water and house wines any you quench your desire for them. An afternoon tea is served to guests before dinner arrives.
Mara Nyika has 5 tented suites with two 2 bedroom family tents. The sambuk family suite was opened in 2023 and comes with a private butler, private guide, and a private entrance. These campsite can accommodate a maximum of 14 guests at a time. It has facilities and amenities such as the walk in shower, elegant copper tubs, secluded patio with plunge pool, elegant desks, king poster beds, ceiling fan, power outlet, yoga mat and band, electronic mini safe, low voltage hairdryer, high ceilings, netted widows, mosquito nets, twin or double beds and bedside stand.
