Mara Plains Camp is a luxury tented camp found in the south west corner of the Olare Motorogi conservancy, bordering the Masai Mara national reserve and the Mara north conservancy. It is among the private camps found in this exclusive conservancy and it is owned by the great plains conservations. As much as it has a neutral tone to blend with the environment, it gives you a luxurious and inviting look.
Mara Plains Camp has 2 lounge area for relaxation with one part being a small library with books to impact you with bush knowledge and the other end being a writing area where you can wrap up your days in your lovely journals. The mess area has an extended wooden verandah that overlooks the river where you can enjoy an outdoor-like brunch and dinners. Book a bush breakfast or bush lunch at a price and enjoy it at a lovely bush location. Due to all time game drives, meal times are flexible.
Mara Plains Camp has 7 canvas tents perched along the meanders of the ntiak ntiak river with and overviews of the savannah. This tents under the tree canopies have a ceiling, rough hewn wood floor, thick Lamu wood doors, deep reds decors, brass accents, king size beds, writing desk, a safe, Swarovski binoculars and canon HD cameras. The rooms are accessed by a wide rope suspension bridge over the ntiak ntiak river. There is also a honeymoon suite.
Mara Plains Camp, having on of the most luxurious suite known as the Jahazi suite. This is a 2 bedroomed luxury suite that can be used by families or those travelling as a group. It is raised on a recycled railway sleeper deck under the tree canopies. It has a common lounge, a private outdoor verandah overlooking the savannah, indoor dining area and ensuite facility made up up double basins, flush toilets, indoor and outdoor showers, luxury bathroom and a private plunge pool.
