Rekero Camp is located on the Musiara sector’s southern part, 150metres from the main point of the Masai Mara Serengeti wildebeest crossing, overlooking the Talek river. Its is around the confluence of the Mara river and the Talek river. It has facilities that can easily be accessed by disabled guests. It is always opened from June to march and closed between April and May for renovations.
Rekero Camp has a canvased lounge and dining area. Enjoy a communal breakfast and lunch in the dining area and a 3 course dinner by the fireside. All special diets are considered upon requests. Wind up your day with a sip of either a soft drink, house wine or beer. There is also an open opportunity for bush meals such as bush breakfast, bush lunch and bush dinners. Relax at the cosy sofas by the front deck as you wind your memories in an orange red filled sky with a glass of fine wine in a sundowner moment.
Rekero Camp has 9 canvas spacious tents that are set among the riverine trees of the Talek river. There are 2 family tents. All the tents have ensuite bathrooms, flushing toilets, toiletries, hot showers, a chair and a table. Relax on the daybed on your verandah as you lazily set your eyes on the zebras that are grazing on the other side of the river. These tents are divided into doubles, twins and triple.
