The Loisaba Starbeds are located among a kopje of rocks in one of the Eastern Valleys, overlooking the Kiboko dam in the Loisaba conservancy. Kiboko dam is a home to a resident hippo family and a main water source for passing game animals. The Starbeds bring you close to nature and it lies just off the equator where we have the most beautiful night skies. The Starbeds are an African adventure in themselves with a panoramic view of the undulating valley and waterhole just 15 minutes drive from the Loisaba tented camp. The mess tent is a wooden floored and thatched roofed. In the inner part in has stone floor with wooden framed furnitures , comfortable sofas lines with colorful cushions while the dinning has upright chairs around the wooden tables.
The Loisaba Starbeds have handcrafted ‘mkokoteni’ four-poster wooden beds sit on raised wooden platforms jutting out from a thatched-roof accommodation and are rolled out each night for guests to enjoy the most memorable sleep under the endless African sky. Each star bed is individually built in harmony with the natural rocky features, incorporating a sitting area, and open plan bathroom with a view. It has 3 considered double room and 1 family room that can accommodate up to a capacity of 4 people. These bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms, flushing toilets, four-poster mosquito nettings, wash basin, classic bucket shower and an ample space to arrange your clothes and luggage’s.
