Ol Pejeta conservancy is the trail blazer of conservancies in the country. Once a today Ol pejeta is the biggest conservancy in Kenya with largest population of Rhinos in East Africa to an excess of 110. It is, also the home to the only two Northern white rhino in the world.
The sweetwaters chimpanzees sanctuary is also located at Ol Pejeta. The only rescue home for abandoned and orphaned chimpanzees all over Africa. Upon your visitation, you will experience the antics of these intelligent creatures.
Ol. Pejata is also a home to the Africa ‘Big five’, Elephant, lion, cheetah, cape Buffalo and rhino. This is one of the few parks where you may spot packs of African wild dogs whose population is steadily growing.
Being a conservancy, Ol Pejeta shelters other endangered species such as oryx, hartebeest, Gravy’s zebra and the bat-eared fox. Like most Kenya parks you’re likely to come across various displays of giraffe, monkey, baboon, hippo, impala, gazelle, zebra, jackal and hyena. And the birdlife here is robust as well.

Ol Pejata is rich in wildlife. on your game drives, you are guaranteed of seeing the big five; elephant, lion, cheetah, cape buffalo and rhino. Not only that, you will come across other animals such as wild dogs, antelopes, zebra, giraffe among others.
The most interesting animals at the Ol Pejeta are the only two northern white rhino and the chimpanzees. These forms the major attraction.

Attractions in Ol Pejeta conservancy
Sweetwater's Chimpanzees. This is one of the most interesting experience during your visit. You will see chimps from a raised wood walk where you will share a story from the keepers.
Night game drive. Night game drives offer an experience of its own kind. This is the period you will experience unique animals such as Fox, Aardvark and leopard.
Endangered species. Ol Pejeta is the home for most of the endangered species of animals such as the Northern white rhino that is facing extinction. Other endangered species, Gravy's zebra and Jackson's hartebeest are here as well.
