Lewa Wildlife Conservancy

Lewa Conservancy is located south of Isiolo town and North of Mount Kenya. Lewa wildlife Conservancy covers 65,000 acres of pristine African wilderness. With awe-inspiring views of snow-capped Mt Kenya to the south, and the arid lands of Tassia and Il Ngwesi to the north. Lewa wildlife conservancy showcases a range of wild habitats from highland forests, wide open grasslands, melt-water mountain springs and acacia woodland and supports over 440 bird species.

Lewa conservancy is home to over 10% of Kenya’s entire black rhino population and 14% of their white rhino population, making it the perfect choice for your next safari if you want to catch the big 5 such as rhinos, lions, leopards, elephants and buffalo all of which make their home at Lewa. More than 70 different animal species roam the vast grasslands at the foot of Mt Kenya.
