10 Days Honeymoon safari Itinerary

Day1. Nairobi-Masai Mara

Depart Nairobi for Masai Mara arriving at around 1:30 pm.

Check in to your hotel then take lunch.

You will relax waiting for the evening game drive.

3:00 pm, leave for evening game drive.

You will have an introductory 1-day honeymoon safari experience where you will get to enjoy the vast plains of the Masai Mara which are rich in wild animals. You will experience all the big 5, grazers, and a wide range of bird species.

600 PM: return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Meals:  Lunch, Dinner.

Day 2. Masai Mara full day.

Masai Mara is vast, it is big and it is beautiful. Today you will experience the beauty of this most famous park during your full-day game Drive.

You can opt for the hot air balloon safari where you will have a bird’s eye experience as you tour above the sky.

You will also experience bush lunch then proceed for the game drive till evening.

Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3. Masai Mara full day.

Since yesterday you had a full-day game drive, today you will have a different experience. Nature walk in the morning to experience birds, and indigenous trees as you get to learn about the conservation efforts at the Mara.

Later on, you will visit a Maasai village for a cultural tour to learn about the Maa lifestyle and way of living.

After lunch, you will leave in the afternoon for the sundowner and enjoy your drink in the bush to catch the best sunsets as you create memories with the love of your life.

Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.

Note: If you will be staying at the Karen Blixen Camp in Mara North Conservancy, you can experience the night game drive where you will be able to see the rarest animals as they come out at night

Day 4. Masai Mara – Naivasha.

Today, you will leave the Masai Mara and head to Naivasha for a different yet most intimate activity.

You will have breakfast and then leave for Lake Naivasha.

Lake Naivasha and its surroundings have a lot of options and things you can do with your loved one.

You can opt for a cycling safari at Hell’s Gate, hiking, rock climbing, or just take a stroll as you feel the grass under your feet.

You can also experience the rich birdlife at Lake Naivasha as you enjoy a boat ride, take on a walking safari at the crescent island or, enjoy the speed boat at the lake. At the end of the trip, you will leave with unforgettable memories.

You will arrive at Naivasha at around 1 pm and check in to your hotel then take lunch.

You will later catch beautiful sunsets or take a dip at the geothermal hot spa.

Day 5. Naivasha full day.

Today is your busy day. You will have an intimate experience outdoors.

So many options for you! Start with garden breakfast as you watch grazers such as giraffes, antelopes, zebras, and other animals strolling around as they graze.

You will then leave for other activities at hell’s Gate and Lake Naivasha such as game drives and boat rides.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day6. Lake Naivasha full day.

You have had a strenuous experience since you started the trip.

Today is good for relaxation, and easy activities such as nature walk past wild animals, boat ride, swimming, and enjoying your favorite wine with your loved one.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7. Naivasha-Ol pejeta Conservancy.

Ol Pejata is at Laikipia County between Mt Kenya and Aberdares. It is the only conservancy where you will experience the only two northern white rhinos in the world, the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya, and the only bear in Kenya.

During your tour, you will experience all these among other activities such as a walk in the Ngare ndare forest.

You will take breakfast then depart for Ol pejata arriving around 2:00 pm.

You will check in and then take lunch at your hotel

Afternoon relaxation then night game drive (Optional)

Dinner and overnight in your hotel.

Day 8. Ol Pejeta full day.

Today, you will experience the animals, the birds, and everything ol pejeta has to offer.

You will visit the rhino sanctuary, learn about the northern white rhinos, experience the game drives, and nature walks, and late on, catch beautiful sunsets

Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 9. Ngare Ndare.

Take morning breakfast then leave for various activities such as a visit to Ngare ndare forest and a game drive at the Aberdares national park.

Aberdares is a very dense forest best known for large herds of elephants and wide species of butterflies, and birds, and the tallest waterfall is found here.

Ngare ndare on the other side is known for its dense indigenous forest with canopies. This is the perfect place for a nature walk. You can also take a dip in the cold waters at the waterfall.

Dinner and overnight in your hotel.

Day 10. Ol pejeta- Nairobi.

Today marks the end of your honeymoon. Time to bid goodbye to the friends you made during your stay.

Take morning breakfast then depart for Nairobi.

Your driver will drop you at your home or preferred place in Nairobi.
