If you’re in Nairobi and looking for an unforgettable escape — something refreshing, meaningful, thrilling, yet absolutely rejuvenating — then a 2-day safari to Ol Pejeta Conservancy is the perfect getaway.
Ol Pejeta Conservancy is not simply a safari destination. It is the location of the most consequential conservation story in the world right now — and visiting it is an act of bearing witness to something that no future generation will ever be able to see.
The last two northern white rhinoceros on Earth live at Ol Pejeta. Their names are Najin and Fatu. They are a mother and daughter, and they are the final members of a subspecies that once roamed the savannahs of Central Africa in their thousands. They are under 24-hour armed guard. A team of scientists is working against time on assisted reproduction programmes that may — or may not — pull the subspecies back from extinction. You can see them on this safari. You will never forget it.
The 2 Days Ol Pejeta Safari covers the full conservancy — 364 square kilometres of Laikipia Plateau wildlife habitat that supports black rhinoceros, lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, and some of the most diverse bird life in central Kenya. The conservancy is privately managed to the highest standards — vehicle ratios are strictly controlled, guides are exceptional, and the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary (housing East Africa’s only chimpanzees, rescued from illegal ownership across Central Africa) adds a wildlife encounter found nowhere else in Kenya.
Two days. The rarest animals on Earth. The most important conservation visit in Africa.
